Window Installation Gone Wrong? or Should I have expected this?
about 1,000 us dollars for 13ea gas filled windows.
3 window measured wrong, resulting in :
1 front bath room window sidways
stucco patches around 2 windows
need to get paint to match outside
both dry wall patches in both bathroom will need paint
dry wall patches done to compensate for over-wrong-sized sliding door.
(I will need new, LONGER blinds,
(now I need to paint the entire dinning and ajacent living room to match my custom paint)
(also had to remove handrail on the outside handicap ramp to fit)
Window installation gone way wrong! It sounds like some fly-by-night shysters have ripped you off. I would have told them to hit the road well before they began ‘repairs.’ It may be impossible to get them to return to do an acceptable job. You could always threaten to call the Better Business Bureau or the State licensing department. But they may not care and you may be stuck. Sorry and good luck.
We’re thinking of either metal blinds or wooden ones.
I know Custom Blinds have a good range of aluminium venetian blinds as well as real timber and timber-look blinds. They’ve got very good prices and even come out to you for a free quote. Can’t go wrong! You can get their details on their website: http://www.customblindswa.com
In my bedroom I have 2 windows that get bright sun light in the afternoon for hours. I have white blinds now & it’s gets so hot in the room in the summer. Would I be better off buying dark colored blinds or some kind of shades. I don’t like curtains. Thanks.
