I have installed Window Blinds 5 on my PC and after trying to uninstall the program it creates problems with Windows. So I have to leave the program installed on my PC.
However…I just told Window Blinds to use the default Windows XP settings skin. The little reminder that was popping up on the start-up screen telling me to buy the product after my 60 day trial period is no longer appearing. And I don’t see the Window Blinds Icon in the taskbar by the clock.
Does this mean that the software is not running on Start Up anymore? How can I tell if the program would still be running in the background?

I’m wondering about the look from the street. I know that white or beige window treatments look nice but I would really like to use bamboo type shades. But if they look bad from the front of my house I don’t think I want to have them. Anyone have them?
Bamboo is a nice look, but can be seen through at night when lights are on in house.
