I have roman window blinds on my balcony door and recently, as i was drawing the blinds up, on side got caught on the door handle and now, instead of the blinds laying in a straight line, one side sits higher than the other side. There are 2 ‘guide strings’(?) behind. Does anyone know how to fix these without taking the whole mechanism apart? Thanks in advance!

All the rooms in the house have white baseboards and white crown molding.
85% of the downstairs has wooden flooring. 90% of the upstairs has carpeting.
I am purchasing either 2" or 2 and 1/2 " wooden blinds. Do I have to purchase white because I have all white crown molding (and white sills)?
Does or should the crown molding have any effect on my color options?
Would it be better to try to compliment the browns of the wooden floor stain?
